Works Scope

Britcon undertook the design and build of 15 industrial units and 29,000 sq ft foot of commercial accommodation space. The works comprised of the remediation of the site with engineered fill and optimising the site levels to maintain all excavated materials arising on site permanently, from both foundations and drainage excavation.

The offices were delivered to a Category A finish. New access road (278 Highways) associated car parks and landscaping were completed alongside new incoming services and substation.

We were also able to provide a cost saving to the client.

How we successfully delivered the project

Scoring criteria and pre -assessment did not have sufficient credits to achieve the target BREEAM Excellent rating. Additional points were gained through improved building u-values, additional photovoltaics and the management of the retained materials on site.
