Often projects require the retail outlet remains open through the works. Should our clients be required to maintain trading during construction works our customer focused approach will ensure every effort is made to keep disruption to a minimum and provide a safe environment for staff and customers.

- New Foodstore
New LIDL Foodstore
The new Lidl Store at Grimsby was the first in a series of projects undertaken for the Lidl supermarket chain.
The project involved the demolition of the existing retail buildings, petrol station and the removal of underground petrol storage tanks.
A new supermarket was then erected on the site in keeping with the Lidl group corporate identity.
The building comprised a steel frame structure with a Kingspan roofing system overlaid with clay pantiles. Site works included a new car-parking area, loading bays and landscaping.

- Stationery Superstore
Stationery Superstore
Our first project with Staples UK Limited comprised the construction of a Stationery Superstore at Great Yarmouth.
The work comprised the extension and upgrading of an existing Electrical Retail warehouse , 90 sq m of which was to be demolished to make way for the new extension, creating a finished development of 1300sq m.
All works were undertaken by Britcon including extensive external work and internal fit out to meet the corporate requirements of Staples UK Limited.
