Britcon has started on site with
phase three development works to support the expansion of a unique £15 million
luxury lodge scheme at Burton Waters for Arbor Living.
Lakeshore is a collection of luxury retirement park homes located on the banks of the lake at Lincolnshire’s attractive Burton Waters. It offers high specification park homes for the over 55’s with a smarter lifestyle option when they are looking to downsize or release equity from their property.
Britcon completed phase one in 2015 and phase two in 2016 with a combined value of £850,000 to deliver infrastructure works to the 20-acre parkland site including new roads, foundations for 20 homes, drainage, services, and landscaping.
Following the huge success in sales, Arbor Living appointed Britcon to deliver phase three, £450,000 infrastructure works to support the installation of 9 further park homes.
Britcon is schedule to complete phase three in January 2018 when the first park homes arrive on site for installation. The works also open access for phases four which is expected to begin in Spring 2018. The entire site will house 52 lodge homes when the fifth and final stage is completed.
Paul Clarkson, Managing Director at Britcon said, “We are delighted to return on site at Burton Water to deliver phase three of a very successful development. To be retained for continuous phases for this esteemed client is testament to the great workmanship of our team. Britcon has long established expertise in ground preparation and throughout all three phases and we have resourced the full infrastructure works internally.”
MAW Consulting is appointed project manager for all phases and brought in the expertise of Britcon for the project.
Britcon has worked with many
public and private sector organisations to provide critical infrastructure to
support development projects. These
include major highway and bridge installations and civil engineering enabling
works to support housing, retail and commercial development.
