Britcon completed phase two development works to support the expansion of a unique £5 million luxury lodge scheme at Burton Waters for Arbor Living.

Lakeshore is a collection of luxury retirement park homes located on the banks of the lake at Lincolnshire's attractive Burton Waters. It offers high specification park homes for the over 55's with a smarter lifestyle option when they are looking to downsize or release equity from their property.

Britcon completed phase one in 2015 with a 400k contract to deliver infrastructure works to the 20-acre parkland site including new roads, foundations for 8 homes, drainage, services, and landscaping.

Following the huge success in sales, Arbor Living appointed Britcon to deliver phase two, 370k infrastructure works to support the installation of 12 further park homes.

Britcon said, "We are pleased to complete phase two of this hugely successful development. We were able to resource the full infrastructure works and apply specific skills due to our long standing experience in ground preparation and servicing which is usually integral to most build projects that we undertake".

MAW Consulting was appointed project manager for both phases and brought in the expertise of Britcon for the ground preparation works.

Britcon has worked with many public and private sector organisations to provide critical infrastructure to support development projects. These include major highway and bridge installations and civil engineering enabling works to support housing, retail and commercial development.

Other leisure projects completed by Britcon in the region include Nell Bank Outdoor Learning Centre in Bradford, Tropical World Leeds, Peoples Park in Grimsby, Caravan Club at Bridlington, the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) for Cleethorpes and infrastructure for rides at Flamingo Land.
