Overview
Goole Academy went out to competitive tender for the completion of works including drainage upgrading the a listed building as well completion of full external works.
The Academy consists of a Listed element as well as a modern element. The Listed element is a grammar school building built in 1908 and the drainage around this building needed renewing and completing.
In addition, we were responsible for all new external works including roads, paths, pavings and surfacing, soft landscaping, planting and irrigation systems, external fixtures etc.
As with all our educational projects, we discussed with the Principal and offered to show the school children around the site so they could learn and embrace their new wing to the school.

The Principal was only 1 year in his post and had not had an opportunity to see this part of the Academy before and was delighted we came in the complete and finish to work as well the EFSA and the client agents, Arcadis.
