Britcon were selected to deliver civil engineering works at the chemical plant expansion project.

The new 4,700 sq m facility was designed by Engie Fabricom, who instructed Britcon due to the teams expertise in civil and build projects.

The new facility greatly enhances Kemira’s manufacturing capability and production output, increases employment at the site and significantly reduces road transport traffic to and from the plant.

The bio-acrylamide manufacturing (BioAMD) Building comprises a 13m high cladded steel frame structure with mezzanines supported on piled foundations, pile caps and ground bearing slab on improved ground.
