The company, which provides comprehensive freight forwarding and cargo handling services worldwide, has expanded its offerings at the Selby site with a new warehouse and office facility.

Britcon completed the design and build phases of the 12,000 sq ft warehouse and adjoining 4,500 sq ft offices.

Key Considerations

• All works were carried out whilst maintaining existing operations for the facility on a daily basis.
• All works were carried out adjacent a grade ii listed building and historical rail lines were incorporated into the works.
• Working in contaminated materials.
• This site is also adjacent an existing residential street. Noise and vibration levels had to be kept to a minimum at all times.
